UCR Yellow Ribbon Campus

UCR Is a Yellow Ribbon Campus

The university and the VA split the non-resident tuition costs for Post-9/11 GI Bill® recipients with 100% eligibility. That means at UCR, out-of-state Veterans pay the same, lower tuition rate as California residents!

In-State Tuition Rates Under the Veterans Choice Act – If you’re covered under a GI Bill® program or the Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E) program, you may be able to get in-state tuition rates at a public school, even if you haven’t lived in the state where the school is located. Keep reading this page to find out if you qualify for in-state tuition rates under Section 702 of the Veterans Choice Act.

UCR Student Veteran: Jennifer Sayre

“I am so grateful for the VRC — it was my home on campus to hang out or study in between classes. [The VRC helped me to learn] about my benefits and the campus through the workshops they hosted.”
